6 months

Ella is 6 months today! What I would like to know is..How on earth did I go to bed one night with a newborn baby and wake up with a 6 month old. She is a delight and I love her more than I feel like I can even handle sometimes. Sophie adores her and is so good to her. The funnest thing is watching Sophie make her laugh. No one can get her going like Sophie. All she has to do is clap her hands and Ella is in hysterics. She is so much fun and such a little happy, adorable sweetheart!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!

I had a grrreat birthday! I sold my rebel XTi last week in hopes that I would eventually upgrade to the T1i... Well Spence came home with it 2 days before my birthday. Happy day!! My husband kinda spoils me. I think he maybe felt bad that he really didn't get to spend a lot of the day with me :)... a camera in exchange for an absent husband on my birthday was ok with me... jk.. or am i?Really it was a very nice day. We went to Red Lobster for lunch then Spence had to go to work so I just hung out with my girlies for the day. My girls were a dream all day long which was the best birthday present I could have asked for. That totally reminds me of my mom what I just said. Anytime we used to ask her what she wanted for her birthday she would always say to have us not fight all day long... we used to roll our eyes and get so annoyed. Funny how we start to say the things that used to annoy us the most and we said we would never ever say.

Anyway I have had fun learning all about this camera. It's fun because its an SLR with a video camera in it too. It takes great videos too... if anyone is looking into getting an SLR camera I HIGHLY recommend this one.

My first post on a private blog!

I know its kind of annoying that I went private-- but I feel its the right desicion at least for now that we are in Calgary. I was getting some creepy comments and it would have been really easy for someone to figure out where we lived from our blog. I was starting to have nightmares about it.. for real. Might sound crazy but I felt like I needed to trust my gut on this one. Anyway thanks to whoever is following me still.. The last few weeks have been good around here. I just wanted to post these pictures taken by Ashley Bennett. All of the Pack side of the family was home for my Grandma and Grandpa Pack's 50th anniversary so we were fortunate enough to have Ashley do some pictures for us. She is an awesome photographer and a good friend too. Thanks Ash so much again. It meant so much to all of us that you did this on such short notice.

On nice days we like to go up to the splash park. It was actually nice for a few days last week so we grabbed some Mcdonalds (my kind of picnic) and headed up there. It's nice today and I am just patiently waiting for my girls to wake up so that we can go!! We are all so pale and sickly looking and could really use a little color.
