amazing invention

so this little contraption is a lifesaver for a teething baby. i put frozen peaches inside the netting and sophie just goes to town. and it is good because she is getting some fruit. i love it!

Well we finally went to New York City. It is only an hour and a half away from Philly.. It was so cool. It was super surreal being there! You always see these places in the movies so it was weird to actually be there. I loved it! Spence got me a ticket to WICKED for my birthday!! I have wanted to see Wicked since they opened and I saw Idina Menzel and Kristen Chenoweth perform "Defying Gravity" on the Tony's. So basically 4 years I have been dying to go. Anyway it was so amazing! Better than I ever imagined!!!!! Anyway we didn't have time to see much else by the time I got out of the show so we just walked down time square for a bit.. I bought a pair of knock off Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses that I absouloutly love. We are gonna go back this weekend or next we don't know. There is just so much more that we want to see... and eat. haha! So here are a few pics of us in the big apple!

so i don't really have a subject i just wanted to add a few pics. not really much is new. i am flying home in 3 weeks. it will be super hard being away from spence for a few weeks but it will be really nice to be home and enjoy some of the summer in cardston. sophie is doing really good. she is become such an easy baby. not that she was ever difficult but she is just so happy and content all of the time.... well most of the time.

i realize that i put alot of pic of these two up but there just so cute. the other day amanda brought waty up before we all went to lunch and when i saw him in his plaid shorts i just had to put sophie in hers. they will probably be embarresed someday when they see that they matched all the time but oh well.

NEW CAMERA!!!

I got an early birthday present.. Spence gave me a new camera so that when we go to NYC next week we will be able to have a better camera. Anyway I have been wanting the canon sd750 for a long time. My mom, kara, kimber and chase all have it and i LOVE it. So I have been playing around all day with the colors. I think it's funny that when I pulled out all of the pink, it looks like Sophie is wearing lipstick. First the pictures of the blush- now the lipstick. haha. So here's a few pics that I took today. I am very camera happy. What's new?

BUDDIES

Yes..I realize that Amanda and I are matching and so are our children. We found those sweaters at an Old Navy downtown and they were so cheap. I came to Amanda's apartment and she told me that she was going to wear the same thing so we thought it would be fun to put our kids in matching outfits too. I swear we did not put Sophies arm around Watson. She did that all on her own then Watson leaned his little head on her shoulder and they actually stayed like that for quite awhile. It is so fun to see them interact with eachother. Anyway last night we went to a 4th of July bbq and there was some dang good food but unfortunately it started to rain. The salesman and techs didn't mind too much so they stayed but we didn't think it was a great idea to stay. Our babies were getting pretty tired too so Amanda and I took Sophie and Watson home about 20 minutes after it started. But it was okay beacuse today for lunch Amanda, Tanner, Spence,Cole and I were able to enjoy some of the leftovers for lunch. It was real fun!

Polka Dots

I didn't even plan it I swear. I got myself ready for the day and then got Sophie ready. We went for lunch with Tanner, Amanda and Cole and we got home and I realized that we were totally matching. If only Spence had a polka dot shirt.. haha ya right!

Yogurt + Granola = yumminess!!

Seriously the two greatest foods in the whole world! They should have there own food group. I wake up in the morning craving my yogurt and granola. This kellogg's granola is the lowest in calories and fat i have ever been able to find and the yogurt is fat free and sugar free and only 80 calories per cup. You would think it was nasty being that healthy but mmmm mmmm it is a delight!

SCRANTON

So Spencer and I & Tanner and Amanda are all hard-core fans of The Office. Anyone who hasn't seen it your missin' out. It is soooo hilarious. Anyway it is set in Scranton, PA which is close to where we live so we thought it would be fun to venture out to Scranton for the day. We were a little dissapointed that we couldn't find the welcome sign that's on the show but we had a picnic by Lake Scranton and it was alot of fun!

ps. check out Cole in the picture of daddy and there babies. we decide that someday we would photo shop his baby in there. haha

EVERYONE in my family went to Mexico in March. Well I guess Chase didn't go either but he's on a mission.
