Home for the weekend

My Grandpa and Grandma Pack celebrated there 50th wedding anniversary and we decided to throw a party for them. We had a lot of fun... and a lot of tears. I just love these 2 more than I can even explain. They have been there for me at the lowest of lows and the highest of highs. I am so close to both of them and feel so blessed to have them in my life. My grandma and I always say that we are joined at the hip. In fact when we are together are hips are always connected. She is the sweetest, most compassionate, giving person i know and she is so easy to talk to. She also has the quirkiest, funniest sense of humor and makes me laugh harder than anyone! My grandpa is such a funny guy that makes friends with everyone and is so loyal and protective of his grandkids. He has always sided with us in every situation and I fear for those that cross his grandkids. He has such a soft heart and being around him puts a huge smile on my face. I have been so fortunate to live just over the hill from them the majority of my life and have spent many many days at there house. In fact I lived with them for a year after I graduated from hairschool and Spence and I lived with them for 3 summers. I can't say enough good things about them. It was a lovely weekend and I am so happy to be living so close to home so that I could be there.
I sang my Grandma and Grandpa's song "Could I have this dance" and was good for the first verse then I, (along with everyone else) lost it for the last verse. It was too hard when I looked over and saw my grandpa in tears.

We had a nice lunch at Remington Center today before I left to come home. It was delish! If you are ever in Cardston- GO!
Also we had a bonfire at my grandpa and grandmas house last night. They live on a little piece of heaven and I am so happy when I am out there! I took advantage of the perfect weather and light and took some pics of Sophie around the farm.

I love your Grandma and Grandpa Pack too. It was fun working with your Grandma and going to church with them both. They are always good to me.
